Does your Rock Star need taming?
September 28th, 2010
Little Billies produce a range of magnetic reward charts and routine charts to help you manage your day. They specialise in products that reinforce good attitudes and behaviours in children and help make parenting a positive experience.
Speaking from experience i know only too well how hard it can be to tame a toddler and not create further problems. We used the rock star reward chart to toilet train our daughter when she was two and a half. She was so excited when she used the toilet she would race out to the fridge to get a new magnet. When he dad got home from work she was so proud of her chart she would show him all the magnets she got for the day.
With the arrival of our second daughter, our eldest daughter has needed some taming. Whilst i know it has all been about getting our attention, we had to make sure we didn’t encourage bad behavi
our. Once again the reward chart has been in full swing, rewarding our daughter throughout the day for her good behaviour.
A Little Bit of cheek has been a stockist of these reward charts for some time. Today we are excited to introduce some new styles. The Rock Star, Rock Dude and Rock Chick charts (coming soon) are now available in black and silver and they are still exclusively available at A Little Bit of Cheek.
The Rock Star Reward Charts include an A4 magnetised sheet, with 48 magnets to suit a range of good behaviours, and are available exclusively from A Little Bit of Cheek for $29.95
These charts have a personality of their own and will definitely engage the up and coming rockers of this world! So if your rock star needs taming, be sure to check out these creative and funky designs!

Are you looking for perfect baby shower gift
September 23rd, 2010
Finding the perfect baby shower gift can be difficult, the last thing you want to do is give the same gift as someone else. So what can you buy that’s different but still practical?
This is where A Little Bit of Cheek can help. We have some ROCKIN gift ideas for babies.
Firstly if you want to go all out and buy something special, we have the Amy Michelle baby bags. These bags are available in 6 different designs and a range of different colours and certainly for the style conscious parents. They have thought of everything with these bags including washable change pads, internal and external bottle holders and compartments for nappies and wipes just to name a few.
We have some gorgeous little singlets and tees from Blink, JettRoc, Oh Baby London, Itch Design, Sourpuss and Love Police. These are not for the faint hearted!
Oh Baby London also has a range of onesies. The fabric is exceptionally soft which is what you want for newborns delicate skin as well as knot hats and bibs. These would make the perfect gift.
If you want to rock it up a bit, we stock the ACDC onesie from Sourpuss as well as the awesome pom pom beanies.
These beanies are sure to make a statement!
Our latest arrival, Micro Me has a range of onesies, leggings, legwarmers, tees and hoodies from 0-3 months. The hardest part about choosing is deciding what you love the most.
If you’re looking for a rattle that ROCKS you can’t go past our range of guitar rattle from The Grateful Thread. Each guitar rattles measure approximately 23cm x 9cm and contains a bell that jingles for baby to start his/her musical career.
To keep the babies dummy from getting lost and falling on the floor we have a great range of dummy clips from Elodie Details and Rock Star Baby. Team them up with a dummy from Rock Star Baby. These dummies are sure to raise some attention.
My personal favourite is by far the Rockabye Baby Lullaby cds. There are now 31 different cds to choose from ranging from The Beatles to Tool and now Kanye West so i am sure you will find one suitable. If you’re not convinced these would be suitable jump onto our website and listen to a few samples so you can hear how great these alternative lullabies are.
Of course if you are still not sure of what to buy you can never go wrong with a soft toy. The gorgeous range of JellyCats are so soft and cuddly they will soon become the bed time favourite.
For bath time fun we suggest a rubber ducky. We have a few designs in stock from the traditional yellow duck to the Rock Star Baby black pirates duck suitable for up and coming rock stars.
But if you’re still not sure what to buy a gift voucher is always an excellent gift. This way your friend can buy whatever they want or need for their new arrival.
We even offer free gift wrapping.
At A Little Bit of Cheek we are always happy to help so give us a call or send us an email and together we can come up with the perfect baby shower gift.

Family fun day at the Royal Adelaide show
September 8th, 2010
On Monday we took time away from A Little Bit of Cheek and spent the morning having fun at the Royal Adelaide Show. It was the first time Violet had been to the show and was the first time we had been to the show as a family. To say we had fun was an understatement.

I have now realised just how tough Violet is. She is such a dare devil. She wanted to go on all the rides. It was mum and dad that were apprehensive about her going on rides by herself at the age of three.
What if she didn’t like it and started crying or worse still stood up while the ride was going? To avoid this happening mum got to go on the rides with her. She LOVED them! The faster they went the more she laughed. We had the best time. Violet played the clowns, rode the Ferris Wheel and a few other rides, held a baby chick and patted a cow. Violet also got her tractor drivers licence LOL. We finished the day off with the Bertie Beetle show bag.
It was a great day with the family.
